Newport is a beautiful suburb located around 11kms south west of the Melbourne CBD. Newport has an abundance of period homes with renovations and improvements occurring on just about every street. There are also some multi dwelling site developments and heritage building restorations going on too. There's been a real change in the demographic of Newport in the past 10 years or so and we're now starting to see some pretty cool cafes and restaurants popping up to accommodate the new wave of residents.
Newport has a great community feel with schools, parks and excellent transport available. Newport is a suburb neatly placed between the beachside suburb of Williamstown to the south and just a short trip to the north, you have access to the Westgate Freeway. It's really a special time to be part of the ever changing suburb of Newport.
